free download adobe flash player 10 activex!Adobe flash player 10 is not working?

I installed adobe flash player 10 and nothing happens. I am using windows vista IE and it says that it was installed but all I get is that it hasn't when I try to open a video from any site. I have checked the security settings and made sure the ActiveX was set to propmt like the solutions page said and it still does not work. I have tried everything can someone help please. When I go to yahoo videos it says I need flash player 10 I did a scan and what it says below is well what it said. I have also tried to delete everything from my files and redownlaod them and still nothing. What do I do?

You will need to uninstall and reinstall adobe flash using the Adobe Flash uninstaller as there may still be parts of flash still installed in your computer that were never removed.

Just click the run tab on the Adobe flash uninstallfree download adobe flash player 10 activexer

Now reinstall Adobe Flash
try uninstalling and then downlaod it again
well, are you sure the format of the videos are supported on adobe flash player 10?

Btw may I ask what version OS you are running as? Windows Vista x64? Windows Vista x86? Basically is it dual core, 64 bit, or just your run of the mill 32 bit system? If you don't know what version it is you can check by going to:

Start>Accessory>System Tools>System Information

There you should be able to find a row containing "System Type" which will either say x64 or x86.
