Dont bring up anyquestions about previous sexual partners, unless to ask if he has any stds,that wont be good.
Ask him what he likes and tell him what you like. Write a bunch of questions down.. both of you... throw them in a hat at take turns picking them out and answering them. That should get some info out.

have you guys had list icebreaker questionssex yet? If not and you're just getting to know each other then my favorite game is the question game. One of you start of by asking a question, the other person has to answer, then it's their turn to ask.
It's a lot of fun and could be as easy as
1. What was the dirtiest thought you have ever had?
2. if you had your way, what would be your most favorite thing to do
ect ....
however, they don't have to be sexual, it can lead into it ... I would start out innocent :-)
