blue lyrics perfect circle!A Perfect Circle

Ok now I know this album is old but I am baffled here. What are the correct lyrics

"Call an Optimist, she's turning blue"
OR
"Call if Aftermath, she's turning blue"

I have been listining for years and when I look it up I find both sets of lyrics online and their official page doesn't have the correct lyrics. I will admit if it is Optimist I think that is clever but aftermath is more their style.

Help me out here
Why is there even any debate on this question? It's definatly, 100%, "call an optimist". If you have any doubt, listen to the Blue (Bird Shake Mix), it's said even clearer.
P.S. Most lyric sites are crap, they feature fergie and rihanna perfectly, but good bands like APC, CAD, and Tool never are correct. I tried correcting them but they never keep my corrections.
While this has already been answered, I'd just like to further clarify. On the aMOTION DVD, Maynard says the lyric is "Call an optimist". The "-ist" on optimist is never emphasized in either version of the song, making "afteblue lyrics perfect circlermath" possible, but on the DVD, the source, himself says it is optimist.

i thought it was. calling out to me, shes turning blue.
I always thought it was optimist, it makes more sense that way.

Ok.. If you know the song name, and the singer/band then go on this site and on the search bar, type it in. It gives you the whole song...

Hope this helps...
i just listened to a whole perfect circle track for you so you'd better be grateful :p

it's optimist

peace
I didn't want to know
I just didn't want to know
Best to keep things in the shallow end
Cause I never quite learned how to swim

I just didn't want to know
Didn't want, didn't want,
Didn't want, didn't want

Close my eyes just to look at you
Taken by the seamless vision
I close my eyes,
Ignore the smoke,
Ignore the smoke

Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a lovely color for you
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
While I just sit and stare at you

Becauseblue lyrics perfect circle I don't want to know
I didn't want to know
I just didn't want to know
I just didn't want

Mistook their nods for an approval
Just ignore the smoke and smile

Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a lovely color for you
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a perfect color for your eyes
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
Such a lovely color for you
Call it aftermath, she's turning blue
While I just sit and stare at you

I don't want to know

If you think about it it makes sense either way. When think about it "call an optimist".. it's like he's trying to make her feel better because she's sad..
but if you think about it "call it aftermath", it's like he choked her. She's dead. She's turning blue, and he likes it (such a lovely color for you), and he's just sitting and staring at her while she turns blue.
