"Friendship is like peeing your pants, everyone can see it,
But only you can feel the true warmth."
Two immediately spring to mind, both from Woody Allen.

" Its not that i'm afraid to die, i just dont want to be there when it happens."

I like the idea of immortallity, it'd be nice to live to see it.

My absolute favourite motto is "Adopt, Adapt, Improve."
"Anyone who lives within their means, suffers from a lack of imagination" ~Oscar Wilde

"What we want most is to be held... and told... that everything [...] everything is going to be alright" ~ Truman Capote

"Homo Homini Monstrum" Man is a monster to men ~Latin Phrase

"Rachel are you scared of death" "Nah, I'm just trying to put on my shoe"" ~My childhood

And I'll leave you with a long argument by Douglas Adams ;)

"One celebratfamous quotes funny quotesed argument that Adams put forward on the subject of religion is that of the sentient puddle: refuting the suggestion that the existence of God and his love for us is proved by the fact that the world is perfectly designed for our needs, he compared such thinkers to an intelligent puddle of water. Pleased with itself and certain that the hole in the ground it occupies must have been designed specifically for it, since it fits so well in it, the puddle looks up to the sun above and worships its divine benefactor. The fate of the puddle, of course, is to exist happily under the sun until it has entirely evaporated."
'Never again will attempt to gain power through the ballot box. Instead, we will infiltrate every corner of the Establish until we have control'.

Secretary General of the CP of Great Britain after every candidate lost their deposit in the first post war election.
when asked what he thought would have happened if kruschev had been assassinated instead of kennedy, a political pundit(forget the name) thoufamous quotes funny quotesght long and hard and replied"i dont think aristotle onassis would have married mrs kruschev"
:) all from songs:
its the loneliness thats the killer
its better to burn out than fade away
and more...bt it would take me a while

oh, and if we're talking Douglas Adams...i like most of 7 books!
How much does a man live, after all?
Does he live a thousand days, or one only?
For a week, or for several centuries?
How long does a man spend dying?
What does it mean to say "for ever"?
~Pablo Neruda
It just took a whole new meaning for me. I read that quote at the beginning of this book called "In the House of the Spirits" By Isabell Alande. Once I was finished reading the book, I reread that quote and it just took on a meaning I just cannot explain. I am always suggesting people read this book, but please don't watch the movie, the book is so much better and the quote loses its meaning if you watch the movie. Book is better.
